Discussion + Practice = Improved Skills & More Fun!

Next Level Motorcycling

About Us

Next Level Motorcycling helps fully licence motorcyclists in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast HAVE MORE FUN. We do this by running small group workshops and real life, on the road practice, and discussion.  We provide our customers with the confidence and skills to have fun on the road and the chance to meet other riders who share the same passion. This is a totally new concept in improving experienced rider safety.

Next Level Motorcycling provides local, low-cost opportunities to improve confidence and skills for on-road riding. Instead of “instructors”, we are facilitators. This means that we want and value your opinion and experience and create the space for this to occur. We believe experienced riders have a lot to offer each other but rarely get the opportunity to share skills and learn from others. Sessions are divided into:

  • Refresher Skills (compulsory for all riders)
  • Technical Skills
  • Touring Skills

Our Services

Street skills

Next level facilitators are not the experts. They tap into the combined knowledge of the group and are able to present evidence based theories and what works for them. They are skilled and focused on asking questions rather than imparting a one correct way to approach a situation or technique.

REFRESHER SKILLS are compulsory for all

Even if we only want to ride the twisties , we usually have to ride through traffic etc to get to the hills. If we are touring, we will be riding through towns and traffic. All riders require street skills for a safe and enjoyable ride- regardless of what riding style is preferred.

As this is a rider led discussion and practice, the topics below are a guide only as each group discussion goes in different directions. This is a 2.5 hour session with discussions held between riding activities and a maximum of 4 riders per group.

Corners and tight roads are what many of us love but it is on these roads that many accidents occur. Getting it right is perhaps the most rewarding aspect of motorcycling. Getting it wrong can wreck yours (and others) whole day or worse.

Touring Skills

Going for longer trips- perhaps with your partner or friends is an awesome social aspect of riding that many of us enjoy. There are few things that change dramatically when you have been on the road for a while, riding on expressways or carrying extra weight that open opportunities for discussion and practice.
